As a kid, every Summer I tore into my candy-stained copy of Avengers or Justice League of America to get to the centerfold first.  Why?  Because from about 1965 to 1985, (okay I was no longer a kid) the networks usually printed two page centerspreads advertising their new fall Saturday Morning Schedules!  Each summer, i hoped for some animated fare featuring comic book characters, but that was rare.  There wasn't much to speak of after the Superfriends made a mockery of the Justice League of America.  I can still remember how disappointed i was watching Superfriends for the first time.

It did improve with the arrival of the Legion of Doom, Firestorm and Cyborg.  That helped with the indigestion-inducing presence of Black Vulcan's bare legs.

Perhaps you should accept scans of those comic previews for you site?  (By the 80s, as comics slowly began attracting Nintendo, Sega and BMX bike ads, these Network ads dwindled to a single page, so they'd be easier to scan)

VVVVVUUUUUULLLLLLCCAAAAAANNNNNN!
