I am trying to find out about an old story printed back in the late '70's and I think it could have been in Sgt Rock/Easy Co.

 

Two brothers manning a machingun position against a German attack througha field. Eventually the two brothers are killed.

 

Fast forward to WW2 and once again the Germans are attacking through the same field. Up from the ground rise the skeletons of the two brothers and they begin firing their weapon again.

 

Sound familiar to anyone?
