Yo Don, Twas reading the entry for Polly & Her Pals by Cliff Sterrett. Noticed a shared enthusiasm for this classic strip - my favorite over Krazy Kat, but not by much, and noticed you must have done this entry early on and might consider coming back to it some time soon
You should at least mention that Thierry Groensteen in Angouleme France, former director of CBDNI there, published a 3rd large size volume and its claim to fame was i figured out i owned unpublished Polly Sundays by Sterrett dating to 30 October 1958, who could not afford ghosts any longer like before after the arthritis kicked in, and are published there for the first time - i think i own the last known Polly Sunday which is that Oct 30 1958 date
anyway, for some reason i had not clicked onto Polly, usually in the past i was on a specific egg hunt for info - but now that i am trying my hand advertising on your site, thought i would peruse it more carefully in a casual manner.
A ton of work in there, keep it up,
robert beerbohm

Hey, Bob, good to see you here! Your vast knowledge and love of comics make you a great asset to any message board on the subject. (We first "met", as you may recall, in the mid-'90s back on the old CompuServe Comics Forum. You were plagued with multiple submissions, which annoyed some people, but your contributions were always interesting.)
Yes, you're right that Polly was one of my earlier entries. I ought to revisit those old ones from time to time, just to clear up the clumsiness as I was feeling my way around, trying to set a direction for the site. To say nothing of updating them with the info I've picked up since then. Of course, there are so many I need to look at, but I'll make a point of checking Polly when I get a chance.
And I've noticed your ads, too, which started about when Mark Evanier was pluggins you. Everybody should take a look (toward the lower left), because there's good stuff in them! (It's my misfortune to be unusually low on cash this year.)
Quack, Don
