Don;
For some reason as I was driving this morning, along with keeping an eye on traffic, my mind wondered to everyone's favorite CGI animation house, Pixar.
You have done articles on several 'toon publishing/production houses. I presume that Pixar is on your "radar" for an article sooner,or, given your schedule, probably later. I was just curious, when it's done, are you going to consider it a separate entity apart from it's corporate sibling, Disney (theatrical, and, tv) Animation, or, revise the Disney entry to include Pixar.
I was going to ask if you're going to do the indivual Pixar characters, but I seen you did a Buzz Lightyear, so I presume that Pixar characters will get indivual entries, if they are "spun off" into their own indivual "toons."
p.s. I also presume that DreamWorks Animation, and, it's CGI animation partner, will also eventually get it's own entry.

Pixar will eventually get a separate article (with the proviso that "eventually" covers a lot of territory). The fact that they did their early releases through, and were eventually absorbed by, Disney, makes them analogous to All American/DC, and those two have separate articles.
And the characters are like any others -- I'll get to them when I get to them, and there's no telling when that'll be. As I've said many times, so many toons, so few brain cells.
Despite the fact that Egmont recently suspended production of new material (things are tough all over), my schedule is as hectic as ever. Besides scrambling for paying work, I'm using the time to resume work on a long-stalled novel that's very dear to my heart. (Hopefully, I'll have it ready to submit to an agent in a couple of months or so, but it needs some very intricate plotting to make it end right.)

Don;
I did not; do not expect miracles. I knew full well that your professional life (depsite the Disney licensee suspending new materials,) and, your personal life (husband, father, grandfather,) would make any near term inclusion nearly impossible. I was just curious as to what your plans were, not when.

Just as well, because I don't know either. I often get up in the morning knowing I'm going to start the work day by writing a Toonopedia article, but have no idea what it'll be until I've been at my desk for a while, and already made my morning rounds on the Internet. (I'm doing that right now, in fact).
